80th ANNUAL MEMBERS’ FINE ART EXHIBITION PROSPECTUS AND REGISTRATION
Entry into this exhibition is for current members of the Rehoboth Art League only. Membership must be current from the date of this application through the end of the exhibition.

The Rehoboth Art League invites its members to participate in the 80th Annual Members’ Fine Art Exhibition, which will be held from July 27 - September 3, 2018 in the Corkran, Tubbs, and Ventures Galleries on our Henlopen Acres campus.
: There is no theme for this exhibition.
: There is a twenty dollar ($20.00) non-refundable participation fee to take part in this exhibition.
Standards and Media
Original art work, including photography, will be accepted from all current RAL members. Entries must be original
(i.e., no reproductions or giclee prints, with the exception of photography), less than two years old (i.e. no works earlier than 2016), and never previously exhibited at the RAL. Each artist is permitted to enter one (1) work, either framed or unframed, neither of which can exceed 36” x 48”, unless agreed upon by the Artistic Director, Jay Pastore.
In addition, an artist may also enter one (1) sculpture, small to medium in scale and weight.
: The Rehoboth Art League will provide an opening reception on Friday, July 27th, from 5-7:00 pm. Images of selected works in this exhibition will be used on the RAL website and in promotional materials. This includes the implied consent of the artist to also allow the RAL to incorporate them into educational materials, press releases, and other related publicity.
: All hanging works must be wall-hung ready with wire. Works that are not wall-hung ready, or have exposed wires while hanging, may not be displayed and returned to the artist. At the discretion of the Artistic Director, the RAL reserves the right to refuse any artwork. No works in this exhibition can be NFS (Not for Sale). Artists will be informed of all sold works and may replace them with another. Although we make every effort to handle all works with extreme care, the RAL is not responsible for any losses or damages that occur. All works must have a label firmly attached to the back with the artist’s name, title, medium, date of production, and price.
Sale and Payments
: The RAL shall set the artworks at the retail prices given by the artist. The artist will receive a sixty-five percent (65%) payment for the sale of any works. Payments are made on a monthly basis. The RAL will receive a thirty-five percent (35%) commission for any works sold during this exhibition.
*Following the Exhibition
: The RAL will receive a thirty-five (35%) percent commission of the sale price of any artwork sold to a buyer outside the RAL galleries initially introduced to it while on display during this exhibition.
Delivery and Pick-up
: All artwork must be delivered to the RAL Henlopen Acres Campus between July 13 - 23, 2018, and must be
removed by the end of business day September 17, 2017. ***Any works remaining after that time will incur a $5.00-dollar storage fee / per item / per day. If no effort is made to make arrangements for removal from the gallery after two (2) months, it is assumed that the artist is donating the work(s) to the RAL.
: The RAL cannot store any boxes or packing materials for works in this exhibition.

: This year we are happy to announce our awards judge is Margaret Winslow. Margaret Winslow (b. 1979) currently lives in Wilmington, Delaware, where she is the Curator of Contemporary Art at the Delaware Art Museum. She has curated for the Neuberger Museum of Art, New Wilmington Art Association, Delaware Center for the Contemporary Arts, and assisted with exhibits for the Aldrich Contemporary Art Museum. In 2009, she participated in Maryland Art Place’s 7th Annual Curators’ Incubator with her exhibition, Soft Space: Architecture in Contemporary Art. Margaret holds a BA in Art History from the University of Mary Washington and an MA in Modern and Contemporary Art, Theory and Criticism from SUNY Purchase College.
